MOUSE (affectionately known as Mousie) is the Alpha female. She is independent but loving to her chosen humans. This lady is superb at hunting and since we have moved our home to the country has been eyeing up a horse in the neighbours field. She likes to think big! Mousies other principal attribute is her princess status. Unlike the other cats who eat their dinner on the floor, Mousie prefers to eat alone and preferably at the table. If at all possible she would also like to receive an individual sachet of food and not a lump from a tin. As if! Any day now I expect to receive a request for pate or shrimp. She has expensive tastes as all princesses do!
TIGGER is Mousie’s brother. Unlike her, he is clearly a pacifist and is friends with all his siblings and even the neighbouring cats. Sometimes uncertain when new cats or kittens join us he will be a fierce friend once he has recognised you as one of his own. He is a home loving cat, quite self-contained, infrequently needing stroking or kisses but he does like a chat in the morning. Should you ever meet him please take note; he is most particular about his colouring preferring to be referred to as a strawberry-blond than a ginge!
