SOLOMON is a bit of a loner regarding the other cats, but does like to sit near his humans when possible. He is well known for the loudness of his snore , which can rattle the windows, and not learning to sleep somewhere flatter despite regularly plummeting from the arm of a chair mid-snooze. He likes to eat stickie treats but his preference for giving them a lick before eating them occasionally means they get stolen away whilst he is mid-slurp. Regardless he is hardly wasting away as unlike the other cats he is a sitter more than a runner and is a little on the portly side. He might look trim in the photo but just try lifting him up and you will see what I mean.

CLAUDIUS is the littlest hobo to join our throng. Despite not having a litter mate when he came to join us he has quickly made a friend in Arthur. He admires Arthur hugely and looks for him whenever he is playing outside. It is joyful to watch them playing tag and galloping at full speed up and down the garden. He is unusually bright for a male cat and he has even learnt to “fetch”. Now I just need to get him to bring back something more useful than a cat toy! His picture shows that he is a little bit cross-eyed. Perhaps I should have called him Clarence rather than Claudius?
