Why should I choose you instead of a cattery?
Cats are territorial, loving their homes and feeling most comfortable in their own surroundings.
Placing cats in a cattery exposes them to unfamiliar, scary scents and sounds which can increase their stress levels, however lovely the staff may be or the surroundings may look to us humans.
Booking with Kernow Kitties allows your pet/pets to remain in their own home, eating their usual diet (supplied by you). This will keep stress to a minimum for your cat and you; and you can avoid the trips to and from the boarding home too.
In addition, I don’t charge per pet, just per visit. So, if like me you have more than one cat Kernow Kitties may be more affordable too!
Can I book a visit every other day whilst I am away?

For these reasons, Kernow Kitties will only be able to provide cat visiting services if you book a daily visit.
We are happy to visit twice daily if required but do appreciate that cost is important too, so offer a low priced feeder rental rather than a second visit each day as a preference. (see fees).
Will you spend time with my pet/pets?
For cats with access to a cat-flap who may be outside when we call we may not see them every day, but we will monitor feeding and promise to spend quality time with your pet/s whenever they are indoors at our visit.
Do you look after other animals?
Unfortunately we do not have facilities to offer services for dog owners but would be happy to visit and provide support for your small caged creatures e.g. rabbits, guinea pigs or hamsters with or without cat siblings!
What locations do you cover?
Locations within the hub area for cover include Camborne, Falmouth including Mylor Bridge, Constantine and Mawnan Smith, Gwennap, Hayle, Helston (but not as far as Mullion) Lanner, Penryn, Porteath, Redruth, St . Day, St . Agnes, Truro, though not the most easterly villages e.g. Probus , but if you are unsure if we can help you please do call us. We would be happy to try to help.
